If you're trying to lose weight, chances are you've embarked on some type of diet journey at least once (I know I have!). Some more restrictive than others. "I cant eat this", "I'm not allowed to eat that", "I feel so guilty because I just ate this", "I have to give up all my favorite foods"...…sound familiar?
A healthy well balanced diet is great (and should be your goal). In this case, when I say "diet" I am referring to those restrictive type fad diets that focus more on what you should not be eating and are almost impossible to sustain for long periods of time.
In this podcast episode, I discuss one of the biggest reasons why these types of diets just don't work. The reason is quite simple but often overlooked.
